A vessel exposing different appearance of copper by outlining heat patina surfaces with polished edges.
The high thermal conductivity of copper means that the welding process heats up the entire object. After cooling in cold water, copper hardens and patinates in beautiful red-brown colors. This is taken advantage of in the detailing of the vessel - simply by polishing the edges to reveal pure copper as a fine, shiny and graphic contrast at the geometrical form.
